Volunteer to Help Our Runners!
“This experience was fun and I would definitely volunteer to help out with a race again! I am an avid runner and I thought it would be fun to be on the other side for this race and help out with the organization. Seeing so many people smiling and being active was very heartwarming. I was grateful for the opportunity to help out and be a part of such a well organized race.”
– Louis-Alexandre Cabanel, Stetson University
Our volunteers are invaluable to the success of the races, from start to finish and behind the scenes. Help us help our fellow athletes achieve their goals
- with registration and packet pick-ups at the race or the week leading up to the race
- at an aid station handing out water and Gatorade
- at the finish line handing out medals and water
- at the post-race party, food or beverage tent
All volunteers will receive a Ladies’, Men’s, or Youth tech race shirt and are invited to enjoy the post-race celebration, including hot pasta, cold beer, and live music.
If your friends or family members are coming with you, they can “participate” in your race by serving as a volunteer.
If students need service hours, our races offer a fun and rewarding experience for them. We’ll sign your school form after the event (see below).
Or perhaps you’re an athlete not entered to participate due to injury or other reasons – here’s an excellent opportunity to help your fellow athletes and socialize with them afterward in a beautiful park setting.
Volunteer as a Fundraising Opportunity for Groups
For non-profit groups looking for fundraising opportunities, you can adopt an aid station. This is a great way for running clubs, youth athletic teams, school groups, and other charities to participate in our community events while earning funds for your organization. We offer donations of $200 to groups of eight or more. If students need service hours, our races offer a fun and rewarding experience. We’ll sign your student’s school form after the event.
If your group would like to participate, please register NOW at this link! The group registration link is in the second row, last button. These are offered on a first-come basis and may fill up quickly. Please note that registering does not guarantee you a spot. Our volunteer coordinator will be in touch with your group assignment.
On behalf of our athletes, many thanks to all in the Tampa Bay community for all your continued support.
We're located in the beautiful Tampa Bay area, with races in St. Petersburg, Fort DeSoto Park, and Madeira Beach to Largo.
“Didn’t know anything about your marathon prior to entering, but tell your tremendous volunteers, all the way from the beginning, along the trail, and to the end – they did a great job!
– Kim Robinson, Portage, MI
